Our Role in Commodities & Minerals
50K Capital is a transaction facilitator — not a commodity broker, trader, or owner of the underlying assets. We do not take positions, hold inventory, or act as a principal in any commodity transaction. Our role is to identify credible opportunities, verify the principals and documentation involved, and introduce qualified counterparties who have the capacity and intent to transact.
The commodities and minerals space is particularly susceptible to misrepresentation — unverified sellers, undocumented assets, and intermediary chains that obscure the actual owner. Our discipline is in the qualification process: we do not make introductions until we are satisfied that the opportunity is real, the principal is verified, and the documentation supports a legitimate transaction.
Transaction Criteria
What We Require Before Engaging
The following criteria apply to all commodities and minerals inquiries. Incomplete submissions will not be advanced.
Principal Identity
Full identification of the seller, resource owner, or mandate authority — including legal entity, jurisdiction, and documented capacity to transact on behalf of the asset.
Mandate Authority
Where a mandate or agent is involved, written authorization from the asset owner or rights holder must be provided. Undocumented intermediary chains are not accepted.
Product Specification
Commodity type, grade, specification, and applicable industry standards (e.g. LME grade for metals, ASTM for industrial materials). Vague or unspecified product descriptions are not accepted.
Origin & Source Documentation
Country of origin, mine, extraction site, or production facility. Export licenses, mining rights, or production documentation as applicable to the jurisdiction.
Location & Logistics
Current location of the commodity, warehouse or storage details, and proposed Incoterms (FOB, CIF, CFR, EXW). Logistics must be clearly defined.
Quantity & Availability
Total quantity available, minimum order quantity, and confirmation of availability for immediate or scheduled delivery. Tranche or lot structure where applicable.
Inspection & Testing
Seller's accepted procedure for independent third-party inspection and testing — SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, or equivalent. Inspection must occur prior to payment.
Payment Procedure
Accepted payment instruments and terms. Payment procedure must be commercially standard, clearly defined, and acceptable to both parties prior to introduction.
Off-Take & Supply Terms
For recurring supply arrangements, proposed off-take volume, frequency, pricing mechanism (spot, index-linked, fixed), and contract duration.
Compliance Documentation
AML/KYC documentation, export and import licenses, sanctions screening, and any regulatory approvals required for the commodity type and jurisdictions involved.
